Di solito pensiamo al genio come a qualcosa che appartiene a poche persone straordinarie, capaci di lasciare un segno indelebile nella storia dell\u2019umanit\u00e0.
In questo senso ,<\/em> non \u00e8 un termine che ci verrebbe in mente di attribuire a chiunque.
Eppure Whyte ci ricorda che il genio non \u00e8 cos\u00ec esclusivo: nasce dalle radici stesse della parola Genius Loci<\/em> \u201clo spirito del luogo\u201d.
Visto cos\u00ec, tutti noi<\/em> possiamo portare dentro di noi una scintilla di genio: siamo il frutto unico della nostra eredit\u00e0, del tempo e del luogo in cui viviamo, dei ricordi e delle ferite che ci hanno plasmato.
Il genio diventa allora possibilit\u00e0. Se lo custodiamo dentro di noi, come possiamo entrare in contatto con esso?
Forse la strada che porta al genio \u00e8 unica per ciascuno di noi: una ricerca personale, mutevole e intima.
Credo di averlo percepito davvero una sola volta, durante un\u2019esperienza intensa con i funghi magici: un\u2019onda travolgente di amore puro e di connessione mi avvolse, verso tutti e tutto, passato, presente e futuro.
Da allora cerco di portare quella sensazione di connessione nella mia vita quotidiana. L\u2019individualit\u00e0 non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 uno scudo, ma un ponte per accedere al genio \u2013 un ponte che sfuma i confini tra me e gli altri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Questa volta ho scelto io la consolazione da condividere su 30-60-90. Il titolo \u201cGenio\u201d nell\u2019indice mi ha subito attirata. Decisione presa e donna sorpresa, perch\u00e9 non \u00e8 la genialit\u00e0 che Whyte esamina, ma il\u00a0genius loci,<\/em>l\u2019identit\u00e0 \u201cautentica, unica e naturale\u201d di un luogo geografico. Affermando che il corpo umano \u00e8 una geografia vivente, il genio diventa l\u2019essenza che contraddistingue ciascuno di noi e che si esprime pienamente quando siamo in armonia con noi stessi e con la nostra \u201cconfluenza di flussi ereditati\u201d.
\u00c8 consolante pensare che ciascuno di noi \u00e8 un frutto individuale, diverso, unico, che tuttavia trae nutrimento da un unico albero radicato a radici profonde. Raggiungendo la piena consapevolezza di questa nostra comunalit\u00e0 e, al tempo stesso, singolarit\u00e0, viviamo in sintonia con il genio connaturato in noi.
Il mio genio si \u00e8 evoluto con la mia storia ed \u00e8 stato plasmato dalle persone e dalle atmosfere dei luoghi nei quali ho vissuto, lontana dalla terra dei miei avi. Negli anni, sono entrata a contatto con luoghi, gente, lingue e culture diverse che ho imparato a conoscere, amare e interiorizzare. \u00c8 un genio italiano, ma anche un po\u2019 inglese e americano.
Ho trovato la frase conclusiva molto poetica:\u00a0\"Il nostro genio consiste nel comprendere e nel restare sotto il sistema di stelle presente alla nostra nascita e, da quel luogo, cercare la singola stella nascosta, oltre l'orizzonte notturno, che non sapevamo di stare seguendo.\"<\/em>\u00a0\u00c8 difficile per me capire se ho mai trovato la stella seguita, se, nel tempo, ne ho seguita pi\u00f9 d\u2019una, se, a volte, ho navigato al buio.
Vivere autenticamente la mia \u201cgeografia interiore\u201d significa dovere ammettere di non averla mappata completamente e di avere spesso obligato il mio GPS a ricalcolare senza troppi drammi. La meta finale, tanto, non cambia ed \u00e8 la stessa per tutti, che ci si arrivi seguendo un percorso ben delineato o fatto di qualche giro strano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whyte analizza questa parola attraverso una lente poetica. Il genio viene visto come un dono specifico e, al tempo stesso, una possibilit\u00e0 non ancora realizzata: incontro tra il retaggio e l\u2019orizzonte. Una forma di consolazione che ognuno porta con s\u00e9 e che si rivela nella connessione armoniosa tra noi e la natura.
Anche per me il genio \u00e8 una disposizione naturale ed \u00e8 \u201cspeciale\u201d perch\u00e9 \u00e8 legata a molte altre capacit\u00e0 umane: creativit\u00e0, inventiva, fantasia, immaginazione, intuizione, visualizzazione del futuro, illuminazione\u2026
Insomma, per essere geniali bisogna avere talento in molti ambiti: apertura mentale, capacit\u00e0 di osservare, recepire, organizzare le conoscenze, porsi domande e cercare le risposte\u2026
